The company also continues to invest in future talent through its Internship Program, which entered its third edition in 2025. The program offers real-world training and professional development opportunities for young Kuwaitis, many of whom have gone on to join InvestGB full-time. This year, 48 interns between the ages of 17 and 25 participated, reflecting a nearly even gender balance. In addition, InvestGB actively engaged with students and professionals at the Al Hamra Second Career Fair, providing guidance, networking, and professional headshots to help them prepare for their career journeys.

Lamia Karam
Chairperson
Ms. Lamia Karam is the Chairperson of InvestGB and General Manager of Treasury at Gulf Bank. With over 30 years of experience in treasury management, capital markets, and foreign exchange, she has held senior roles at Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait and Burgan Bank and chaired the Treasury Committee at the Kuwait Banking Association for two consecutive years.
Since joining Gulf Bank in 2017, she has been instrumental in strengthening its presence in Kuwait and the GCC. Ms. Lamia holds a degree in Economics from Kuwait University, as well as Executive Certificates in Management and Leadership, and in Strategy and Innovation from MIT Sloan School of Management, USA.

Hani AlAwadhi
Vice Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Hani AlAwadhi brings over 20 years of experience in both local and international investments.
Prior to his appointment at InvestGB, he served as the General Manager of Investments at Gulf Bank, where he played a pivotal role in establishing InvestGB. His previous roles include Head of Managed Funds and Acting Head of GCC Equities at Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC), where he managed global investments in hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure. His career includes various key positions in prominent institutions and companies locally, regionally, and internationally.
Hani has a proven track record in developing, implementing, and monitoring alternative investment portfolios. He was instrumental in establishing and maintaining one of the region’s largest hedge fund investment programs and contributed to the successful listing of Shamal Az-Zour Company on Boursa Kuwait. Active in corporate governance, Hani holds multiple directorial positions on various boards. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.

Dari AlBader
Board Member
Dari AlBader holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York, USA. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
With more than 20 years of experience in business and banking, Dari has held several leadership roles. He previously served as the President of Group Corporate Affairs at Alghanim Industries and has worked with prominent international and regional organizations such as JP Morgan, Citi Group, Dubai Capital Group, and the National Bank of Kuwait. Currently, he is the Chairman of Asiya Capital Investments Company.

Abdulrahman AlKhubaizi
Board Member
AbdulRahman AlKhubaizi is the Deputy General Manager and Head of Wealth Management at Gulf Bank, with over 20 years of experience in strategic banking, portfolio growth, and institutional transformation. He leads the collaboration between Gulf Bank and InvestGB, strengthening wealth management solutions for High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients.
His senior leadership experience spans Commercial Banking, Family Conglomerates, and Wealth Management.
Mr. AlKhubaizi previously held senior roles at HSBC Global Banking & Markets, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, and Commercial Bank of Kuwait. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Kuwait University, has completed executive education at Columbia and Harvard Business Schools, and is a Certified Credit Manager.

Anoud Al-Hathran

Anoud Al-Hathran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kuwait University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Maastricht School of Management. Anoud has over 22 years of experience in the financial and investment sectors. She has served as the Executive Vice President of Funds & Clients’ Portfolios at Securities Group Company and was the Senior Manager of Investments at Global Investment House.

Tareq AlSaleh

Tareq Al-Saleh brings over two decades of extensive experience in banking and investments. Before joining InvestGB, Tareq served as Deputy General Manager of Investments at Gulf Bank, a position he held since December 2012, where he played a key role in shaping the bank’s investment strategies. His leadership extends to notable appointments, including serving as a board member of the Kuwait National Fund for SMEs Development and as Chairman of the Kuwait Economic Society, a leading civil society organization.
Tareq earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston University and an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. Committed to continuous learning, he completed the General Management Program (GMP) at Harvard Business School in 2015 and INSEAD’s Strategic Banking Program in 2020, further solidifying his expertise in strategic leadership and banking innovation.

Noorah AlSane

Noorah brings over 15 years of experience in Investments, having held key roles at Gulf Bank, Wafra Real Estate, and Global Investment House. Currently, she leads the Real Estate Unit within the Asset Management department at InvestGB. Noorah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Denver. She has also completed a one-year intensive training at the Kuwait Fund’s Training Program for Engineers, along with a six-month training at Mouchel Project Management Company in the United Kingdom.

Samer is currently heading the Information Technology department at InvestGB where he oversees IT strategic and operational planning through innovations, IT initiatives and technology deployments of current and future IT systems.
Samer’s career background includes KAMCO Invest and Global Investment House.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Entrepreneurship from Babson College. She has also earned a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources Management, a CIPD Advanced Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management from Oakwood, and is a Certified Assessor by The British Psychological Society.
